Letter from Fr. Joseph Fenelon OFM Cap. to Fr. Peter Bowe OFM Cap., Provincial Minister, conveying news regarding Fr. Albert Bibby’s declining health. He notes that Fr. Albert underwent a blood transfusion on the previous Friday. The blood was donated by a Sister of Charity from St. Vincent’s Orphanage. While he is resting better, an upcoming operation is still being planned to provide him with ‘temporary relief’. Father Fenelon intends to visit Fr. Albert again the following week and check on Fr. Reginald’s progress at Santa Inés. He also encloses a check for $200.00 to cover the stipend for two hundred Masses.
