Letter from Fr. Cuthbert Hess OFM Cap, English Capuchin Provincial Minister, to Fr. Peter Bowe OFM Cap., Irish Capuchin Provincial Minister, expressing his hope that the Irish friars will soon be able to establish a house in New England. Father Cuthbert also provides a firm assurance that ‘strict injunctions’ will be given to English friars not to trespass on work or territory belonging to the Irish Province.
