It primarily contains professions of obedience, chastity and poverty of the men who joined the Tertiary Carmelites. This also includes the laws which have to be followed by the Congregation, the object of the congregation and its principal duties, the procedure for electing a Superior, the duties of the Confessors and Chaplains and some early history of the Congregation
