This sub-fonds concerns the history and administration of Kilmurry House which was ran as a novitiate by the Institute of Charity. It I broken down into series which contain records concerning the administrative running of the school including a large collection of application forms by boys who wished to join the novitiate, financial accounts, and construction costs. Other notable records relate to the daily lives of the priests and boys who resided in the novitiate, a fire that took place in the building and the sale of the building in 1972. Types of documents include correspondence, photographs, ledgers and newspapers. The condition of the material is good. Any material deemed restricted will be highlighted as such and will be closed for one hundred years from the date of creation unless approved by the archivist or provincial.
