ARTICLES AND TALKS RE THE KAVANAGH MSS:
photocopy of an article entitled "An Unpublished Eighteenth Century Franco-Irish Manuscript" published in "Studies (Sept. 1939) by Dr. Richard Hayes. This article contains some interesting facts, such as an explanation as to how Kavanagh came to be ordaind before he had begun his priestly studies, casts some doubt on Kavanagh's strictures concerning one of the superiors of the college at Nantes, Fr. John Walsh, and gives telling information on a Fr. Richard Ferris to whom Kavanagh wrote offering his services so that he could remain in France.
