Scope and content

Kavanagh, Rev. Fr. John: MSS and associated items in Mount Argus Archives:
TYPESCRIPTS and COPIES:
Typed copy (now in poor condition) of the Diary or Journal. It seems to have been done by Fr. Edmund Burke, C.P. as letter of 19-12-1950 from the Manuscripta Cmmission mentions that it would be returning the typescript to him "after the Christmas holidays" (located at 8-4-5-1 serial no. 7138). That letter also enclosed the Commission's notes for Editors and Transcribers of MSS. and the instructions in those notes seem to have been carried out, at a later date, by Edmund or another as indicated by amendments in manuscript to this typescript.
