Copy letter from +McQuaid to +Wright regarding the Boston Pilgrimage. He has heard nothing from +Cushing who he invited to stay at his house. He has learned that the travel plans have been altered and that the pilgrims will spend only two days in Dublin. He mentions a lunch at Clonliffe and a garden party, to be hosted by the Government, at Iveagh House. He hopes these arrangements will prove suitable.

Letter from +Wright to +McQuaid stating he has no idea what happened to his earlier correspondence. In it he informed the Archbishop that the Cardinal was delighted to accept the invitation to be his house guest. He has now presented the programme regarding the lunch in Clonliffe and the garden party in Iveagh House to the Cardinal. Mr. McCarthy who is organising the trip will visit the Archbishop while in Dublin.
Typed letter to +McQuaid from Proinsias Mac Aogain, Minister for External Affairs, inviting him to the conferring of the President with an Honorary Doctorate by the Catholic University of Louvain to be held in Iveagh House.
Typed letter to Fr. Martin from Una Byrne. She received a reply from IHA. She will not be allowed on to the sub-committee, so she will bide her time. Otherwise she might be expelled for damaging the organisation. Has a great plan if it works. Mrs Murphy of the Iveagh Markets and 14/15 other women will join the IHA, so she cannot see the Trinity crowd staying. Mrs Murphy has lost all her customers so Una Byrne will help her get new ones.
