Alexander Burrowes of Ferensboro, County Longford, who was Sydney Robert's grandfather, left money and lands to his son, Thomas Robert Burrowes, father of Sydney Robert Burrowes. Now proceeds from the Blackrock property, also known as the Pilsworth Trust, is due. There is a lot of information on the role of the Burrowes family in relation to the Pilsworth Blackrock property.
