Albert Bibby OFM Cap., Church Street, Dublin, referring to the provision of religious services and giving news of conditions and prisoners at the camp. Holohan adds ‘I was glad to hear that you were with Heuston when he died as I was very fond of him. It is delightful to see all our leaders being converted to the Catholic faith’. With cover which has been opened by the censor.

Stamped and dated. With un-stamped permit allowing Fr. Columbus ‘to travel anywhere in the City and visit prisoners in Richmond [Barracks]’. Indecipherable signature at bottom of pass.
Letter from W.T. Cosgrave, Reading Internment Camp, to Fr. Aloysius Travers OFM Cap., conveying his sympathy on hearing of the death of Fr. Aloysius’s brother. Cosgrave concludes by declaring his ‘kindest remembrance to all your Fathers – particularly Fathers Augustine and Albert and of course yourself’.

Mass booklet for the celebration of the centenary of the Vincentian administration of All Hallows College (AHC) in 1992. Includes songs and sections of the liturgy that were part of the celebration Mass. There is a very short historical summary of the Vincentian involvement at AHC at the beginning of the booklet, and a list of 'recent developments' at the College at the end of the booklet.
An aerial view of Marino, a suburb on the north side of Dublin, in June 1932. Visible in the photograph is the O’Brien Institute which was built in the early 1880s as an orphan home and school. The Institute buildings are now used as a training and conference centre for Dublin City Fire Brigade. The print shows large tents pitched on the grounds of the Casino in Marino. The tents may have had some connection with pilgrims attending the International Eucharistic Congress.
