Letter from the Most Rev. Patrick Collier, Bishop of Ossory, to Fr. Ignatius Collins OFM Cap., guardian, regarding the renewal of diocesan faculties for the Capuchin fathers in Kilkenny. Reference is also made to public mass times at the Church of St. Francis.

Ledger of monthly of income derived from community masses at the Church of St. Francis, Kilkenny. The entries relate to money derived from masses received and said, the amount transferred (presumably to the Provincial Minister) and the amount retained by the community. With monthly summaries. The figures were probably transferred from the ledger extant at CA KK/1/1/3/8.

Record book of library books borrowed by members of the Third Order of St. Francis attached to the Capuchin Friary, Kilkenny. Entries made in the volume are made in an ad-hoc manner but include the name of the borrower, the title of the book borrowed and the date of return. A few entries in the volume appear to be records of subscriptions received from Third Order members.

The series contains a collection of prints, drawings and photographs relating to Fr. Theobald Mathew OSFC. Most of the prints were produced for commemorative and devotional purposes and to celebrate Fr. Mathew’s temperance campaign.

Register of masses at the Church of St. Francis, Kilkenny. A manuscript annotation notes that the volume was ‘commenced after the Provincial Chapter of 1925’. The entries include the signatures of the celebrants. The entries were also routinely signed by the guardian.
