A manuscript annotation (in Irish) on the title page indicates that the volume was presented by Seán MacDermott to Lorcan MacDermott in April 1914. A seemingly later annotation reads ‘Presented by L. MacDermott, Srinagar, Kashmir, India’. A printed title on the front cover reads ‘Irish Freedom Nos 1-24’.
