Augustine Hayden OSFC, Fr. Sebastian O’Brien OSFC, Fr. Aloysius Travers OSFC, Vicar, and. Fr. Angelus Healy OSFC. The debt of the community is stated to be £746 1s 11d. It was noted that this figure represents a decrease on the figure of £1,314 6s 7d referred to in the Provincial Chapter of 1907. The property is listed as ‘church, monastery, garden (about 1 acre)’ with an annual rent of £166 9s 0d. Four lots are held freehold and nine lots under lease. Figures are also supplied in the respect of male and female members of the sodalities attached to St. Mary of the Angels including the Third Order of St. Francis, and the Sacred Thirst and the Scared Heart fraternities.

Agreement of Fr. Fiacre Bartholomew Brophy OSFC and Fr. Matthew Thomas O’Connor OSFC, Father Mathew Quay, Cork, and Fr. Jarlath Thomas Hynes, OSFC and Fr. Augustine John Hayden OSFC, Rochestown, Cork (the vendors), with Joseph Sullivan, King Street, Cork, merchant, for the residue of a term of 800 years granted in a lease from Joseph King to John Reynolds, dated 28 Feb. 1805, at the yearly rent of £34 2s 6d. The agreement is subject to certain legal stipulations and covenants including the requirement to keep the top garret and second floor windows which overlook the ‘recreation gardens of the vendors fitted with muffed and ribbed glass’. A notebook containing extracts from letters received from parish priests and other individuals (mostly religious) referring to retreats and temperance missions given by Capuchin friars from 1913-19. The volume was compiled by Fr. Albert Bibby OSFC, Provincial Secretary. Most of the letters refer to requests for friars to conduct missions and (in some cases) to the need for the priests to converse in Irish. The volume includes:
• A letter from Fr. Innocent Ryan, Parish Priest, Fethard, County Tipperary, affirms that the local men ‘have safely ridden the storm of temptation that blew over the place on the occasion of the “old fair” on Friday last. Bucket fulls of coffey [sic] were consumed; and even Bovril (Friday and all!) was, under false ideas of permission, brought into requisition’. Nov. 1913.
• A letter from Rev. Phelan, Parish Priest, Glenmore, County Waterford, to Fr. Augustine Hayden OSFC, notes that the ‘harvest was threshed without drink and the farmers and labourers were perfectly happy. Only in two cases out of possibly 200 threshings was an attempt made to break through the pledge’. (17 Jan. 1914).
• A letter from Rev. J. Flavin, Parish Priest, Arklow, County Wicklow, to Fr. Peter Bowe OSFC, Provincial Minister, refers to his desire to have Fr. Laurence Dowling OSFC for a mission. He added ‘I did not mind who came with him provided he was not a Sinn Feiner’. (28 Dec. 1917).

Letter from W.V. Nagle, National Bank, 34 College Green, Dublin, to Fr. Augustine Hayden OSFC, guardian, Church Street Friary, referring to the ‘American draft’ of £59 5s 6d and enclosing copies of two accounts of the Capuchins with the aforementioned Bank.
