Nevin, C.P., Eugene: Photostat of original document in Highgate Archives (evidently obtained by Declan O'Sullivan, C,P.): letter from the General, Fr. Sylvius, C.P., to Eugene in which he rebukes him for having spoken at the Sean Heuston concert on 1 March, 1918. He inflicts Canonical Censures on Eugene. In his account of his association with the national movement for independence (located at 1/6/2/7 serial no 7672) on p.21 Eugene gives a written record of that concert and his speech afterwards.

Nevin, C.P., Eugene: Autobiography of Fr. Eugene Nevin, C.P. This MS was, from internal evidence, (v. pp 21 and 22) written in 1954. While the MS is disjointed, it consists of several distinct parts, each of which is entered under a separate serial number and location ( serial numbers 7667-7671 locations 1/2/1/2-6). These parts, however, form a cohesive whole. This part, entitled, "Stray Memories" (serial no. 7667 located at 1/6/2/2) deals with his life up to his entrance into the Passionist Congregation. It covers a wide range of topics and contains many items about his native place which would be of interest to folklorists. This part is also typed in two sections: pp 1/115, bound in a blue cover and pp116/153 consisting of loose typed sheets.

Nevin, C.P., Eugene: two news cuttings (not attributed but evidently from a Dublin publication), one being an obituary on Eugene, the other being an account of his funeral. The obituary also contains a photograph of Eugene in his later years. This copy photograph has also been entered in the Passionist Photographic Database under the above serial number, date of origin and entry date.

While the MS is disjointed, it consists of several distinct parts, each of which are entered under a separate serial number and location (serial numbers 7667-7671 locations 1/2/1/2-6). These parts, however, form a cohesive whole. This part, which does not contain a title, (serial no. 7671 located at 1/6/2/6) deals more with the life of a fellow Passionist Student Confrater Joachim (William Tierney Browne), than Eugene's life.
