Invoices from the Irish Photo Engraving Company, Cuffe Lane, Dublin 2. The invoices include copies of the requested photographic engravings. The engravings include sketches of Capuchin life by Grace Perry, illuminated pages from the Book of Kells, the Tara Brooch, Michael Collins, liturgical paintings by Richard King, and the first meeting of Dáil Éireann.

A bound volume with a manuscript title on the spine which reads ‘It’s Ireland’. The volume contains a very large number of postcard prints and photographic prints, newspaper clippings, original historical documents, and printed ephemera. Many of the pasted-in newspaper clippings (some of which are frayed and damaged) date from 1944 to 1946. These articles include references to the ongoing war in Europe, censorship in Ireland, the death of Frank Ryan, the execution of William Joyce (better known as ‘Lord Haw-Haw’), Eduard Hempel (the leading German diplomat in Ireland during the Second World War), and various political, artistic, and cultural events. Several invitation cards to Fr. Senan Moynihan OFM Cap. and Fr. Gerald McCann OFM Cap. for exhibitions and cultural events are also pasted into the volume. There are also a few clippings from the ‘Irish Travel’ magazine, the official organ of the Irish Tourist Association. The volume pages are not paginated.

Photographic prints compiled for an article by James C. Brindley titled ‘Ireland’s Geological Past’, published in 'The Capuchin Annual' (1974), pp 174-186. The file includes images of geological structures, maps and line drawings used to illustrate the text.

A large bound volume containing documents, photographs, and newspaper clippings relating to the 1916 Rising. The volume holds an original copy of the 'Irish War News' (25 April 1916) along with original postcard prints, memoriam cards for the Rising’s leaders and other ephemera. Some of the newspaper clippings are of articles reporting on subsequent commemorations of the insurrection. The volume also holds photographs, clippings, and printed ephemera relating to prominent Irish artists and exhibitions of their work.

The prints show friars at devotions, at recreation (playing musical instruments) and performing household tasks around the friary. The file includes images of Br. William Ryan OFM Cap., Br. The content is wide ranging and includes numerous newspaper and magazine clippings, some original photographs, fliers, ephemera, and pasted-in content relating primarily to the Irish Revolution and partition. The volume also includes many documents relating to the anti-Treaty interest during the Civil War. Many clippings of obituaries are also present in the volume.
