Lease indenture executing an agreement between Joseph Mintern and Daniel McNamara. The document details the lease of ‘that part of the lands of Rochestown containing one acre and a quarter or thereabouts’ located in the Parish of Passage West, County Cork. It references surrounding topographical coordinates, notably bounded by ‘Barry’s Farm’ as illustrated in a handwritten marginal inset map. The indenture sets out a term of seventy years computed retrospectively from 25 March 1863, at the yearly rent of one pound ten shillings British Sterling, paid in half-yearly instalments. It details restrictive covenants regarding maintenance, land use, and the reservation of sporting/game rights.
