Ten lists of nuns, apparently by community, whose identity is unclear, various documents of Roman provenance and of general relevance to Carmelitems communities, correspondence regarding old age pension for nuns, letter of Archbishop to Monsignor Hurley regarding detail of enclosure, to Monsignor [ill.] which may be connected with a memorandum from [ill.] regarding a procession.

Correspondence regarding routine community life and apostolate. A Brother feels obstructed by the Superior General in endeavour to proceed to Holy Orders (within the Congregation, it would seem). Correspondence regarding courses of lecturers - a course for Religious Sisters began with the approval of the Archbishop notwithstanding a similar course at Eccles Street Dominican Convent. The Archbishop regards public nature of a lecture on ‘clerical celibacy’ a serious mistake. Reverberations of controversy over Dutch catechism. Msgr. Boylan’s unease over a proposed lecture (text included). Also a translation of an article by Fr. Karl Rahner, S.J. Reply of Archbishop to a letter from Cardinal Willebrands (see file on Fr. Michael Hurley, S.J.). The Archbishop does not object to a public lecture by Fr. Rahner.
