He has been invited to lunch by the Irish Ambassador on St. Patrick’s Day. The Ambassador failed to attend Mass at the Oratory to commemorate the Pope’s coronation.

Following the ceremonies, the President and members of the government are invited to the presbytery for refreshments. This affords the Nuncio time to meet them.
