He cannot reconcile the facts in the O’Reilly (piano) case with the legal rights of hirers (Gills). Suggests Miss O’Reilly calls to Myra House and her position in law would be investigated free of charge. Mrs O’Reilly and he attended Myra House as recommended by the Archbishop, but were told as they already had legal advice on the matter nothing could be done. As he has already done something similar from Ireland he cannot now sign the English protest.

Letter between +Griffin and +McQuaid regarding the school of physiotherapy. He has contacted the Matron at St. Andrew’s Hospital, Dollis Hill which is run by the Little Company of Mary and she states there is a nun/physiotherapist in Limerick. Note attached states the nun is not qualified to teach but perhaps Dollis Hill may be able to help in finding a suitable tutor. Annotated by +McQuaid.
