Saw Fitzpatrick who said any grant to the Unemployed Men’s Society would be a mistaken kindness. Subscriptions solicited on a former occasion were used for private ends.

              Correspondence between Micheal Breathnach, Dept. of Education, and +McQuaid concerning the contributions to new schools. In Mount Merrion the two schools -Christian Brothers and Sacred Heart Sisters- will each receive £600 from the Parish, while in Raheny the Parish will contribute £400 to the Raheny School. Fr. Wm. Fitzpatrick has agreed to replace the late Mgr. McArdle on the representative Committee.
