Photograph of a group of Capuchin Franciscan friars. A handwritten identification note is extant on the reverse of the print. The text records that the photo was taken in Mendocino City, California, and attributes the friars to the English Province, dating the event around 1911. A handwritten note at the bottom indicates that several individuals shown ‘joined Irish [Province] in 1920’. The listed names corresponding to the eight men pictured include:
