Letter from +Ryan to +McQuaid delighting in the two recent addresses by the Archbishop. He also mentions Fr. Doolan O.P. who is no longer welcome in the Dominican Houses in Dublin and is to go to Nairobi. He feels very sorry for him He states he has been awarded the highest honour Trinidad and Tobago can give.

Memo stating that since the resignation of Bob Quinn, Jack Dowling and Lelia Doolan, things are settling down at R.T.E. Eoghan Harris is the principal agitator but he appears to be getting little support from the staff in general. The unrest caused by the suppression of creative programmes believed to be in the public interest. They alleged that R.T.E. was playing up to commercial concerns by suppressing programmes which dealt with irregularities in prices, sales of goods.
