Letter from +Alibrandi to +McQuaid concerning the date chosen by the Holy Father for the World Day of Prayer for Vocations. It falls on the 2nd Sunday after Easter, Good Shepherd Sunday. As there are changes in liturgical texts, the evangelical theme of the Good Shepherd is no longer found in the liturgy of the second Sunday after Easter. As many enquiries have been made in relation to this, the Sacred Congregation for Divine Worship has forwarded the enclosed reply, as a matter of urgency. Reply from +A. Bugnini of the Sacred Congregation for Divine Worship enclosed.

Would like to stay with the Leo League if allowed. ‘Friendship’ is the work of the League. He gets to know various Trade Union leaders and they get to know the Divine Character of the priesthood. Its work is submitted to the Archbishop.
