Portée et contenu
A clipping of an article detailing the upcoming dedication of the newly constructed St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ukiah, California. Scheduled for Tuesday morning, 18 March 1924, the ceremonies will be led by Archbishop Edward J. Hanna of San Francisco, assisted by numerous priests. A major highlight of the service will be a solemn high mass and the confirmation of a large class of approximately 150 children, primarily from the Albertinum school. The total cost of the concrete and brick church structure is reported as $50,000. The clipping is taken from the ‘Ukiah Republican Press’ (13 March 1924).
