Day book of expenditure of the Capuchin community at Rochestown Friary in County Cork. The monthly accounts contain entries for routine expenses incurred by the friars such as travel (particularly for students and brothers travelling to Cork), foodstuffs, stamps and postage, stationary, and minor repairs and maintenance. Most of the entries are endorsed to the effect that they have been transferred to the primary account ledger. The entries are routinely signed by the Guardian and Provincial Minister during visitations.

There is some minor staining and wear to the end covers.
