The original copy is amended to facilitate the founding of Catholic Boys’ Brigade (and Catholic Boys’ Home) in Cork. Endorsed to the effect that the patron of the local brigade will be the Most Rev. Thomas Alphonsus O’Callaghan (1839-1916), Bishop of Cork.
