The meeting on the 9th October focused on O’Riordan’s forthcoming lecture, ‘Labour’s Way Forward’, and the preparation of a draft educational programme which is to conform, as far as possible, with that of the British Communist Party. O’Riordan’s talk stresses that An Taoiseach’s economic measures should be immediately abandoned as they are causing widespread unemployment.
