Handwritten notes of +McQuaid regarding the suggestion by the Nuncio that Mass be said on High Altar of Pro Cathedral to mark the anniversary of Mgr. Felici’s death. +McQuaid suggested St. Kevin’s Chapel as a more suitable venue but Nuncio insisted on High Altar. Fr. MacNevin contact Mgr. Benelli to state that was acceptable. He was also told that about 60 people would be invited including members of the government other officials and diplomatic corps.
