Mr. Finegan, President, and Mr. Wilson, Vice-President, showed him a letter from the Taoiseach saying the ASTI was guilty of working ‘to strike at the roots of the Conciliation and Arbitration machinery.’ He got them to see that the solution lay in accepting Conciliation and Arbitration. The situation would then change and a halt could be called to any form of campaign.
