Copy of letter to Dr. S. de Bhilmot, Registrar, National University of Ireland from T. O Raifeartaigh. The various arguments for and against the higher level technical courses were outlined, and a conference was held between the Committee and the Department where it was agreed that if a national certificate were to come into existence it should, if at all possible, be provided within the framework of the National University. The Department to consult the University.
