He agrees that they should be free of normal parochial duties during week days and could try and help local clergy at weekends. They could then concentrate on visiting Irish people in their homes during the week. He worries about the financial implications and states the Camp and Hotel Chaplain’s Scheme would not be able to cope with the added burden.
