At their meeting with the Bishops it was decided that the three Presidents should make a preliminary approach to An Taoiseach concerning the autonomy of their Medical Schools in Cork and Galway. He was asked to draw up a statement and while he can do so for Cork he is quite at sea regarding Galway.
