St. Paul of the Cross: Typewritten mimeographed. Fr. Cyprian (Meagher), Prp-Provincial, Highgate, London, to all Rectors. Though efforts were made to buy our Founder's Birthplace in Ovada the owners were unwilling to sell. But, now the place has been bought for 35,000 lire (= £1,400 then) Seeing our love for St. Paul of: the Cross, the Provincial thinks the larger Retreats should cough up £20 each and the smaller ones £10. Send the offerings to Fr. Philip (Coughlan).

Archival documents are catalogued in the following way : Shelf number, box number, file number and item number. Thus, 45/1/1/4 means shelf forty-five, box one, file one and item four. In addition to this each item has an individual serial number. This is attached to the catalogue as an alternative identifier.
