Typed letter to +McQuaid from Sean MacEntee. A letter has been sent to the President of the Red Cross welcoming the announcement that an anti- Tuberculosis campaign is to be conducted under the aegis and with the help of the Irish Red Cross. In view of the statement in the press that agreement had been reached for the fusion of the Anti -Tuberculosis Committee of the Irish Red Cross Society with the provisional Committee of the proposed Anti-Tuberculosis League the letter had to be issued before a discussion could be had between the Archbishop and the Minister.
