1848001 Spencer,, C.P., Ignatius: Anglican Days: Masonic Sash: Part of the Masonic Sash worn by George Spencer (Fr. Ignatius Spencer, C.P.) before he became a Catholic. It was later adapted into a confessional stole and used by him, This fringe belonged to the Mercy Sisters, Birr, with whom Ignatius was particularly friendly.
