Spencer, Ignatius, C. P: CATHOLIC APOSTOLATE; Handwritten letter from Princess Marie Stuart d'Albanie, Presburg (Hungary) to Ignatius. Details the story of her Aunt, a non-Catholic, and Ignatius's campaign for prayers for conversion of England. Details of the aunt's death as a Catholic. Also contains a brief note written by Salvian Nardocci about the letter. Photocopy of this letter was sent by Declan O'Sulliven, C.P., to an enquirer on behalf of a descendent of Fr. Ignatius. For history of this incident see items at 3/2/2/11 to 3/2/2/17.

(1) statement from the rector of Mount Argus, , Fr. Dominic O'Neill, stating that in response to demand it has been agreed that a monument to the memory of Fr, Charles should be erected and inviting subscriptions for this (photo of Fr. Charles included):
(2) drawing of proposed memorial gates and
(3) form to be submitted with donations towards the cost of erecting the memorial.
Mount Argus: Finances: letter from P. Rochford, 42, Kennington Road, London to Fr. Alphonsus O'Neill C.P.. Discusses disposal of money in relation to the Kelly children. Rose Kelly's wishes in the matter are given on p.3. Page 4 is marked "copy 31st Janu\ry, 1868". Receipt for £30 made out by
DOMINIC BARBERI - MISSIONS: Copy of entry in "The Home Journal" of the Sacred Heart Convent, Berrymead, Acton, Hammersmith, London, 1844-1846, and a like entry in "Journal de Berrymead", re nine day retreat given to them by Dominic from 07-08- to 16-08-1846. He did not use exercises of St. Ignatius. During that retreat Fr. George Spencer (Fr. Ignatius) called on Dominic to say he wished to be a Passionist.

Has been in the seminary for the past 8 years. Has studied , Humanities, Philosophy and Theology diliigently. Character good.
DOMINIC BARBERI - LIFE: short letter bearing the famous Maltese Cross cancellation, posted in Athlone, 14/02/1843, year before Dominic came to England, and so contemporaneous with him. Declan O'Sullivan has a note saying , "Probably same year as Anthony Trollope was Supervisor in Athlone P.O.". (Note by A.O'Loughlin: Declan intended to look up this question in Trollope's life. Unfortunately, he never got around to it. I have remedied the omission by reading Victoria Glendinning's fine biography, which covers Trollope's Irish period thoroughly. She gives in detail his various places of work and residence. He was for a time supervisor of the midlands and western districts. His places of residence and work while there are detailed by Glendinning, but no mention is made of Athlone.
General Chapter: Acta: copy of translation into English of an account of the Acta of the Consulta; held in Rome to elect 4th Comsultor General out of the Chapter, 2nd and 3rd Consultors General (one in Mexico, the other in Spain) renounced their active voice/ The Henertal, ist Condulor General. and the Procurator General chose the Rector of Pitzburg to be 4th Consultor General.
