Overseas Missions: Johannesburg Foundation: letter from Caspar Caulfield the Mission Seccretary General to Fergus Louhrey, C.P. He postuates that the Sacred Heart Fathers have been offered certain interests and points out that in the past there was strong opinion that Carletonville and Westenoria should belong to any future Prefecture formed from the western districts of Johannesburg, He also recapitulates the history of the negotiations for a religious house and the Bishop's policy on the matter. Finally he makes sugegstions as to what should be done in the matter. NB' THIS DOCUMENT IS INCLUDED AT A13 IN THE DOCUMENT "OFFICIAL CORRESPONDENCE RE SETTING UP OF HOUSE IN TRANSVAAL" located at 8-1-4-1 serial no 6821.
