Typed letter to + McQuaid informing him of a meeting with three young men, MacEoin (25), McConnell (22) and Dalton (19) who presented themselves at Archbishop’s House. They insisted on seeing a priest regarding the statement recently issued by the Standing Committee of the Hierarchy. They wanted to know a) whether Rome stood behind the Bishops and b) how they themselves now stood in conscience.
