Note from Fr. Mangan to +McQuaid stating that special permission would be needed from Rome to have the Votive Mass on Sunday 11 March. This will be a Sunday in Lent and as the Mass is an anniversary Mass it should be celebrated on the actual day of the anniversary. Therefore it is advisable to transfer the Solemn Anniversary Mass to 11 March. The Nuncio will gladly cable Rome and a reply should be received in a few days. The printing of the invitation cards has been stopped as has the preparation of the choir.
