Handwritten letter to +McQuaid from Tom Mullalley, Limerick Prison. His detention is a breach of the agreement. He has observed his part of the agreement and has resigned from the Republican Army. Does not feel Mr. Boland has anything to do with his arrest. Police vindictive towards him. Asks the Archbishop to continue to mediate on his behalf.

Handwritten letter to + McQuaid from Dr. Joseph Rodgers, Bishop of Killaloe. A Miss Marie [Solen] informed Dr. Rodgers that the Bishop of Limerick had approved of the Limerick Catholic Social Study group holding a conference. Asks if Dr. Rogers would approve of Shannon Airport as the venue and he approved. There was no mention of the panel of speakers and he assumed that it had been submitted to the Bishop of Limerick. The first intimation of their names was in the Press. Is deeply grateful to + McQuaid for his timely note of warning.
