Fr. Mokncree was originally belonging to the Cashel diocese, but was granted an exeat during the inter-regnum in 1622; as a Vicar-Capitular cannot grant a definitive exeat, Fr. MoEncree was never fully released from Cashelk/ altheugh Dr. t. is his request to return is quite legal, reluctant to let him go; testifies to Fr. Mctnereets good character and zeal. Dr. Laffan has added a note giving text of original 'exest' grsnted by him (L.) en 13 July 1922.

L. te fr. Prendergast, P.p. Gives a decision an the boundary dispute between the parishez of Ballingarry and Gurtnahoe, and sets aside as unfounded the claims of fr. Meighan; Fr. Prendergast as P.P. Ballingarry, has jurisdiction ever the area in question. (Dr. Laffan signed this letter two days befere he died)

Dr. D. Murray to Dr. R. Laffan Advises him on how to act in the administration of the diocese of Cashel during the peried before his consecration: he should try to win over bis former opponents by forgetting the whole incident; the enly Pontificalia left by the last archbishop ef Cashel was a Grezier. Details of the mesting of the Bishops of the Munster Province held in Fermoy 6 May and following days; among the regulations is an injunction to the Parisb Priest to keep Baptismal and Marriage Registers, under pain of suspensior;: clergy forbidden to attend Station dinners, to be present at public horse races, publie balls etc. Dr. Michael Slattery has added a note to the effect that these Provincial Regulations were never fully promulgated in the Cashel diocese.
