The altar formally belonged to the Jail. The Minister is in favour of returning the altar and wishes to know if + McQuaid would have any objections.

In so far as Canon 1214 of the Code of Canon Law is involved the Archbishop will not offer any objection to the petition that the remains of the four executed men should be exhumed.
