Typed note to +McQuaid from the Secretary concerning the application of Miss Alevine O’Driscoll for a place in the Preparatory College, Dingle. Her father was a Catholic and her mother a Jew, and she was reared by her Jewish grandmother. +Moynihan, Bishop of Kerry, had no objection to her being given a place in the College.

Handwritten notes on Communist activities. Camp at Giles Quay, Dundalk for boys and girls aged 16 – 30. They come from Ireland, England and Scotland. Main work at present is selling The Irish Workers’ Voice. Everything immoral is encouraged. At least four couples living together. Regarding education one is taught to despise everything to do with religion. At present there are training cells for youths in Cashel Road, Clonliffe Road and Bray run by a Jew called Jackson. There are several Jews in the movement. Their paper is called The Jewish Democrat. Six members in Kilkenny, 9 – 12 in Cork, one in North Kerry and about 300 in Dublin. 20 – 30 girls in whole outfit.
