A typescript annotation on the reverse of the print reads 'Religious procession through Holloway / A large crowd witnessed a Roman Catholic procession through the streets of Holloway this afternoon, which started from the Church of the Sacred Heart, Eden Grove. Girls in white carried a statue of the Virgin Mary, in whose honour as Queen of Peace the procession was held'. The image is credited to the Keystone Company, 12 Wine Office Court, London.
