Letter from Fr. John Fitzpatrick to +McQuaid regarding a ladies’ football match. A practice match was vulgar and nearly indecent. Fr. Vaughan had the programme stopped. The two plague-spots in the area are Kilcroney Club and the Bar B. Both violate the sixth commandment. Mentions beauty contests.
