Dempsey, Michael L., Beaumont Convalescent Home, Drumcondra. Ireland’s application to join U.N.O. was blocked by Russia on the basis that she had no diplomatic relations with Ireland. He informs the Archbishop that Mr. McBride, whom he has met, will favour relations with Russia. In the event that this happens a similar situation will develop as per Venezuela.

Letter from Fr. John Kelly, Holy Cross College, Cloniffe, to Fr. Glennon regarding the ‘Relatio’. The two current ‘Deputati pro Disciplina’ are Fr. Michael Dempsey and Fr. John Kelly. According to Canon 1359 a ‘Rector Seminarii’ cannot hold this office so there is a need for a new appointment.

Dempsey, Alan P., 6 Mount Eden Road, Donnybrook. The responsibility of providing meals for children in primary schools is that of the local authorities, but the School Meals Committee is composed of school managers, many of whom are priests. Some of them see this as socialism. Children could go hungry and Catholics could lose their faith with this attitude.
