Copy letter from Fr. James Ardle MacMahon to Rev. John Moloney, 82 Marlboro’ Street, confirming the arrangements for the Liturgical Reception on 14 October. He also encloses a copy of the press release used for the previous Liturgical reception and believes it will be of use to the Press Officer, Oswald Dowling. He has notified Fr. John Piert who looked after the organ and choir and Fr. Brendan Houlihan who will advise on the chaplains required for the ceremony.

A procession to commemorate 1798 is being organised and people have been asked to decorate their houses. There is reluctance on the part of the clergy in High Street, Meath Street, Francis Street and James’ Street to encourage their people to participate.
