The Archdeacon has done nothing but try to undermine their work by every underhanded method. This cannot be tolerated any longer and begs his intervention. Otherwise more serious action will be taken.

He regrets that it could be suggested that the Archbishop would ‘throw your letter to the wind’; also, that you threaten ‘more serious action’ if your request is unheeded. His Grace has never yet found it necessary to act under threat.
