The Army is anxious about the fuller provision of Chaplains, who would be mobile, have ample faculties and wear Army uniform. Bishops are now being asked to delegate to the Head Chaplain, with power to sub delegate to other Army Chaplains, the usual diocesan faculties, to be exercised only in respect of the Army Forces of Eire in their diocese.
