The most appropriate place to erect the memorial would be the house where O’Brien was born in Baltinglass, but as this no longer exists he enquired if it could be placed on the exterior wall of the church. + Keogh, Kildare and Leighin, pointed out that a memorial can only be erected when the corpse is interned there. A solution might be found if +McQuaid thinks the case is worthy.
