‘House Book’ – account of properties and endowments of St Joseph’s Blackrock at its opening in September 1873. With some loose pages: A list of important documents (title deeds etc) at one time in the St Joseph’s Blackrock safe, an undated typed description of House Property belonging to St Joseph’s, Blackrock, a declaration by a relative of Alexander Grant dated 1883 regarding claims on the property of his late mother, and a page referring to two bequests.

Lease of Blackrock Property

Lease of property at Newtown Castlebyrne, Blackrock, between Richard Beeby Whitmore of Wexford and Andrew Reynolds of the city of Dublin. The attached map shows the lands bounding the Newtown Castlebyrne land. The bounding lands are held by Andrew Reynolds, Edmond Burrows [Burroughs] and Mathew Byrne.

Minute Book of the House Council

The minutes start with the first council meeting held at Saint Joseph's, Blackrock, on 19 September 1873. At this first meeting, it was decided what the order of day would be from 4am rising to 9pm lights extinguished. The order of day was to change more than once in future meetings. Many other things were also proposed and decided in meetings.
